Description
PACIFIC ROLL 7050 uses the same base oil that all the 7000 series of PACIFIC products use. This 70 SUS straight cut oil is specifically chosen to leave no residue on the rolled strip, has excellent natural oxidation resistance, good cooling ability and demulsibility. PACIFIC ROLL 7050 is fortified with additives to increase:
- Load carrying capability for bearing protection
- Wetting ability to break surface tensions of the oil for even and enhanced cooling
- Rust and oxidation inhibition
- Anti-foaming characteristics
In addition, PACIFIC ROLL 7050 has enhanced wetting ability for mills running at higher speeds where, with lower dwell times for the oil and greater bearing friction, strip temperatures can cause problems with shape control, paper stick and other excessive heat related issues.
