Description
PACIFIC DRAW 34 is a highly compounded drawing lubricant formulated for maximum severity press operations requiring high chemical E.P., metal-wetting, and "anti-wipe" properties. It is ideally suited for use on metal where the staining and surface embrittlement effects of sulphur cannot be tolerated. Being water soluble, residues of PACIFIC DRAW 34 are easily removed in conventional alkali cleaning equipment, usually with increased savings due to lower levels of cleaning additive consumption.
PACIFIC DRAW 34 is recommended for use on maximum severity press operations, i.e., the deep drawing of heavy gauge metal. It can be diluted with mineral oil for greater economy or lower severity press operations or with water for the improved cooling effects necessary in high-speed production. It is also useful as an additive to other oil and / or water based drawing and stamping compounds to improve their performance.
