Description
PACIFIC RUSTNIL 5010 is a water based, synthetic rust preventive. It is designed to provide indoor protection against corrosion on all ferrous alloys. It can be used straight or diluted with water depending on the amount of protection required. Typical in-process rust control is achieved with an aqueous solution containing approximately 10% PACIFIC RUSTNIL 5010. The unique chemistry employed by PACIFIC RUSTNIL 5010 also provides mild cleaning action.
PACIFIC RUSTNIL 5010 contains no harmful solvents, nitrites, or SARA title 313 reportable materials. It is low in odour and leaves a dry film on the part after the diluent water has evaporated.
Mixing Instructions
- Always pre-mix PACIFIC RUSTNIL 5010 before adding it to the machine.
- If mixing by hand, always add the concentrate to water, then agitate.
- For best results, a proportioner should be used.
- Since water evaporates from the solution, the concentration will increase over time. To maintain the recommended concentration, makeup concentrate should be pre-mixed at half the % concentration as the initial fill.
